What I’m Doing Now

August 2025

Work

Right now, I’m Senior Content Strategy Manager for Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Momentary. However, I’m actively looking for other opportunities in content strategy, content management, UX, product marketing, and digital storytelling.

I’m currently studying for my PMP certification. I’m hoping to finish the process by Q4 of this year.

I’m continuing to find the idea of digital gardens compelling. As I look at alternatives to Squarespace for this site, I may add one as a low-stakes alternative to blogging. I’m not writing Medium off yet, but I think I’d rather have an easier, no-paywall home for my random essayistic impulses.

Home

Donovan is 18 months old, has learned the word “no,” and he’s using it. A lot. It is a joy to see him become a full person, but I miss the days when I didn’t wonder what he’ll actually eat for dinner.

Summer means family trips to splash pads and pools. I’ve never been a big pool guy, but it’s a lot of fun together.

(Early) preparation for potty training is underway. I feel like a ship’s captain planning a voyage into the “Here there be monsters” part of the map.

Fun

I’m really digging Tales of the Valiant after discovering it last month. Aside from the name, I think it’s a fantastic alternative to 5e D&D. With some support from the Mythic GME system and some old variant rules, I’m taking it for a test drive before reworking my beginner-friendly campaign.

Blue Sail Coffee’s Backpacker’s Blend makes a fantastic cold brew.
