A Showcase of Work to the Tune of “My Favorite Things”

There’s a lot of work I’m proud of, but every print ad doesn’t need its own webpage.

These are a few of my favorite pieces from different campaigns, projects, and clients I’ve worked on over the years—things that I think show my skill and my thought process, but don’t need a 300 word write-up.

Crystal Bridges | “Find Yourself Here” General Awareness Campaign

The 2024–2025 General Awareness campaign that I wrote for Crystal Bridges is probably one of my favorite projects ever. (I’ll probably do a full write-up once it’s done.)

Focused on driving on-site visits and re-working our image to be more playful and less serious, this campaign was all about getting Crystal Bridges to stick in our audience’s brains ahead of our 2026 expansion.

I was both lead copywriter and content strategist for this one, and after leading the three creative teams pitching concepts through design thinking workshops, audience personas, and brainstorming sessions, my pitch for putting playful, art-inspired twists on everyday moments and museum experiences won out.

The tagline “Find Yourself Here” was intended to be modular, swapping in whatever specific driver would speak to each of our four target audiences. From “self-care” to “messy fingers” to “untold stories”, we’ve been able to put out wonderfully specific messages with this one, and get a few laughs along the way.

The proof-of-concept ad with Supine Woman I pitched the campaign with may have never run due to budget constraints, and it may have placeholder text in the body, but the headline is one of my all-time favorites.

The Momentary | Live on the Green

The Momentary’s signature outdoor music series—big artists, big budgets, big expectations.

From radio spots to print ads, signs, paid social, and more, I’ve probably done more promos for Live on the Green than any other single project at CBMO. Unfortunately, most of them don’t involve much in the way of creative copywriting.

But of the ones that did, I’m glad that Wu-Tang Clan made the list. How many writers can say they helped sell out a concert with the phrase “da ruckus”?

Crystal Bridges | The Portal: An Art Experience by Jewel

To add another entry to the “I can’t believe I was lucky enough to work on this” list, in the summer of 2024 Crystal Bridges collaborated with artist and activist Jewel for a unique, multi-disciplinary experience.

With an aerial drone show, art walks, interactive engagements, culinary elements, music, and more, this was a complicated project to sell. So, I decided to focus on the impact of actually seeing and experiencing this thing: what would it feel like to hear a never-before-seen score by Jewel while lights danced in the skies at twilight?
